6. Why would this benefit my child?
We are a little biased on this one, but, we think that for the right person, there is no better internship opportunity out there for college students today.
We don’t know of any other opportunity in which a college student gets the opportunity to run their own business, while having the opportunity to take the responsibility of working with homeowners, hiring, managing and leading employees, overseeing all the financial aspects of the business, while being responsible for the marketing and overall successful operation of their business!
As you can imagine – College Pro franchisees stand out for the amount of responsibility and real-world experience that they take on. Future employers often wonder if the college students are qualified for increased responsibilities, and College Pro franchisees walk confidently into interviews knowing that they have the experience and have had the responsibilities that few, if any, of their peers have. This will set your son or daughter apart from their peers.
It’s not uncommon for our franchisees to comment on how they learned more in one summer as a College Pro franchisee, than in four years of college. With no undue respect to college – it’s difficult to receive the hands-on learning and responsibility that we give our franchisees. And we all know that nothing can take the place of real experience.
